Why should I work with a Resume Writer?

How long does the initial phone consult take?
Please allow about 30 minutes for your initial phone consult, and make sure you are in a quiet place, away from distractions. I want to make sure I have all the information from you to present you at your absolute best.
Why do I need to have the phone consult?
I know you’re busy, so I extract as much information as possible in the one phone call. Information between emails can get lost and misinterpreted, so this is the most efficient way for both of us. Think of it as practice for your upcoming interviews.
Do you work with people looking to get in the mining industry?
This is not Ruby Resumes area of specialty currently, so unfortunately no, I am not the ideal Resume Writer for you. Please feel free to reach out to me if you are looking to get into mining as I do have contacts that I can refer you to. Happy to help whenever I can.

Please send through your resume and job advertisement, and schedule your initial phone consultation using the booking form above.
What’s your turnaround time?
Please allow five business days from the final invoice payment for your draft resume to be sent to you for review.
How many edits can I make?
You are welcome to 2 edits within 5 business days, once the draft document has been sent through to you.
Are the files editable?
Yes, your documents are sent in Word format, so you can update them as needed throughout your career.
Who owns the resume and cover letter once it has been completed?
You have complete ownership of those documents.
Do I really need a LinkedIn Profile?
It’s totally up to you. It’s a free tool to help you achieve your career goals. Having a professional, up to date LinkedIn profile can enhance your industry reputation, provide you with industry insights, and professional development opportunities. Recruiters are actively looking for candidates on LinkedIn and there are opportunities to apply direct for jobs that are advertised. Did you know you can adjust your settings if you’re currently employed and don’t want your current employer to see that you’re actively seeking new opportunities?
